A strong Yong Shen must meet several strict criteria: * It must possess an intact, undisturbed root in at least one Earthly Branch, preferably close to the Day Master. * It must not be neutralized or bound by a Heavenly Stem combination that alters its original elemental nature. * It must be protected from direct clashes or penalties from neighboring branches that would sever its roots. * It must not be overwhelmed by a hostile element sitting directly above or beside it.
