Born Into the Tradition
The art of BaZi reading has been passed down through my family for eight generations, originating from the Liaodong region of China's northeast — a land steeped in the traditions of Taoist metaphysics. This is not a skill I studied in a weekend seminar. It is a living inheritance, refined across centuries and entrusted to me with the expectation of continuing its evolution.
The Turning Point
Years into my practice, I began auditing charts decoded by other practitioners — and discovered something troubling. Many BaZi masters were calculating the Useful God (用神) incorrectly. This single miscalculation inverts every recommendation that follows. It was this realization that shaped my mission: to bring rigorous accuracy back to a discipline drowning in guesswork and superstition.
My second training is not a traditional one. I hold a master’s degree in data science, and the habits it drills in are exactly the ones this craft tends to lack: check how common a configuration actually is before calling it rare, keep the calculation strictly separate from the interpretation, and never let a conclusion run further than the chart supports. The lineage gave me the system. The training keeps me honest about it.

趋吉避凶 — this four-character principle is the beating heart of BaZi. The purpose of reading a chart is not to predict doom. It is to identify the precise timing, direction, and elemental tools that allow you to navigate life's currents with strategic advantage.

Most BaZi consultations do not have a price — they have a contact form. What begins as a reading often continues as a package: the reading, then the remedy, then the annual follow-up.

The Time Correction Most Readings Skip
Every chart begins by converting your clock time into true solar time — and that conversion depends on the time zone your birthplace actually used on the day you were born, not the one it uses today.
Singapore is the clearest example: it only adopted UTC+8 in 1982, and ran on UTC+7:30 for decades before that. Anyone born there earlier, calculated with today's offset, can land in the wrong Hour Pillar entirely. Mainland China observed daylight saving from 1986 to 1991, with the same consequence. Before a single pillar is drawn, my engine looks up the historical offset for your exact date and birthplace, then applies the longitude and equation-of-time correction on top of it. Most readings — and every general-purpose AI — simply use the modern time zone.
Accuracy First
A competent BaZi reading begins with correctly identifying the Useful God (用神). This is where most practitioners fail — and once it is wrong, everything that follows is inverted. I treat this calculation with surgical precision, cross-referencing the Day Master strength, seasonal energy, and hidden stem interactions before any interpretation begins.
Analysis, Not Fear
I will never tell you that a "dark force" is coming for you, and then conveniently offer to sell you a remedy. I do not use fear to generate revenue. My readings are analytical, constructive, and solution-oriented. You leave with clarity and confidence — not anxiety and a shopping list.
