The 60 Day Pillars.
Every Bazi chart sits on one of sixty Jiazi day pillars. Find yours — it is the most personal piece of your reading.
New articles published several times each week.
Of the eight characters in your chart, the two that matter most live in the Day Pillar.
The Day Pillar is your Day Master (the stem on top) and its supporting branch beneath. Together they form one of sixty possible Jiazi combinations — Jia Zi, Yi Chou, Bing Yin, all the way through Gui Hai.
Sixty pillars. Sixty character profiles. Each one has its own dominant traits, classic weaknesses, and signature life themes.
The cycle moves through six xuns (旬) — decades of ten pillars each, every one starting with a Jia (甲) stem. Each xun also has its own void (空亡): two earthly branches that never appear in that decade.
